    Question

Hi folks, got these on eBay. Is that the area around the VC? I need end cap, loading cap, and diaphragm? These still available?

    Thank you.

Bill at Great Plains Audio ought to be able to fix you up with the parts.
From the looks of the left edge of your top plate however, that speaker was dropped hard at one time - kinda explains why all the HF parts are missing! A trip to GPA may be required to get the mechanical structure re-aligned and re-magnetized.

Thanks Jeff, the woofer sounds fine, is that any indication the HF alignment is OK?

Not really, they are separate mechanical assemblies.

If you have a feeler guage, you could check the cosistancy of the gap by using the gauge & circling around the gap where the voice coil sits.If it binds & isn't even all around then I would get Great Plains to rebuild it for you
